The brief
Di Jones Real Estate is a Sydney real estate agency. Its website is where buyers, sellers and renters meet the brand, so it needs to look polished and be easy for the team to keep current.
The agency chose a headless approach: content managed in one place, and a separate front end free to present it however the design called for.
Why Sanity
Sanity stores content as structured data rather than as finished pages. That suits a headless build well, because the front end can pull exactly the content it needs and lay it out in code.
It also means the content model can be shaped around how the agency actually works, with clear fields for each type of content instead of one large text box.
Pairing it with a React-based front end gives full control over how each page looks and behaves, without limits set by the CMS.
What we built
We delivered a headless website with Sanity as the content platform and a React-based front end.
- A Sanity content model planned around the agency’s content types
- A configured Sanity Studio for the team to edit and publish
- A React-based front end that reads content from Sanity
- Templates built to present that content consistently across the site
Built for the team
In a headless setup the editing experience matters as much as the public site. We set up Sanity Studio so the team works with clear, labelled fields and does not need to think about layout or code.
Because content and presentation are separate, the team can update content without touching the front end, and the front end can change without moving any content.
