The brief

Borsari is a food brand that sells seasoned salt blends. Its customers come in two groups: people buying for their own kitchen, and businesses buying to stock or use the product.

The site needed to sell directly online, help people find Borsari in shops near them, and give trade buyers a clear place to start.

Why Shopify

For a product brand selling online, Shopify covers the core of the job out of the box: products, cart, checkout, payments and orders. That let us spend our effort on the parts that are specific to Borsari.

It also gives the brand a well-known admin for running the shop day to day.

What we built

We delivered a Shopify store built around the product range, with two extra features for the brand’s wider audience.

The store handles direct sales. The store locator serves people who would rather buy in person. The wholesale section gives businesses their own route in, separate from the retail shopping journey.

Built for the team

A small food brand needs a store it can run without a developer on call. Shopify’s admin lets the team manage products and orders directly.

Keeping retail, stockists and wholesale on one site means the brand has a single place to point every kind of customer, and a single system to look after. It also leaves room to grow the range without rebuilding the store.
